To provide home health services in various aspects of the client's health from basic assistance with daily living activities to complex nursing care procedures and therapeutic treatments in the comfort of the client's home.

About the Agency

Total Home Health Care, Inc.  is licensed to send both skilled (RN's) and unskilled (home health aides, certified nursing assistants, homemaker/companions) staff into a patient's home.  We may also provide staffing to health care facilities on a temporary basis.

Upon the Start of Care of service, a supervising Registered Nurse develops a specific Plan of Care in close coordination with the Patient's primary physician and completes a patient assessment.  The Nurse reviews the care plan in detail with the patient and/or family/caregiver.

The complete profiles, professional experience of all qualified applicants then become part of our computer data base, to be pulled up and matched to the appropriate patient's needs.

All of our employees are re-evaluated every year, and given continued training, and in-service education.  On a regular basis, our nurses and aides are undergoing hands-on instruction in the handling of our patients.

We know that the comfort of the own home and the participation of family, mascots and friends often results in faster recuperation.  And with advanced medical resources now available for home use, the highest quality health care can often be provided at costs significantly below that of other health care facilities.

Our compassionate employees will keep the household running smoothly, assist with safety measures, practicing Universal Precautions, assist with shopping, prepare meals to meet any dietary requirement, and provide all important emotional and physical support, as well as companionship.  If necessary, we'll train others to assume the tired caregiver duties.

Our dedication to quality assurance is the primary objective in the staff we hire.  We comply with the highest guidelines in the industry for recruiting, screening, evaluating and on-the-job supervision.

Every applicant is screened by our Human Resource Department for general qualifications, expertise, and a satisfactory proof of experience, degrees and certificates must be provided without exceptions.

Those who qualify then undergo a second background screening by a trained office staff who will verify and note special abilities such as knowledge of foreign languages, moral, ethic, dietary knowledge, interests, etc.

All references are kept in each Employee's file, together with all the mandatory documentation.
